Lalitpur: Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi reviewed the progress of the ambitious Bulk Drug Pharma Park project in Saidpur area of Lalitpur and conducted an on-site inspection along with senior officials of the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA).
During the inspection, the minister assessed the ongoing construction work, infrastructure development, and overall progress of the project. He directed officials to ensure that all development works are completed within the stipulated timeline while maintaining high quality standards.
Speaking on the occasion, Nandi said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh is rapidly emerging as a major hub for India’s pharmaceutical sector.
He stated that the Bulk Drug Pharma Park in Lalitpur would play a crucial role in reshaping the industrial landscape of the region by attracting large-scale investments and generating substantial employment opportunities. According to the minister, the project is expected to strengthen the state’s position in pharmaceutical manufacturing and reduce dependence on imported bulk drugs.
Officials accompanying the minister briefed him on the status of infrastructure facilities being developed within the park, including roads, utilities, industrial plots, and other essential amenities required for future investors.

As part of the visit, a plantation drive was also organised within the park premises to promote environmental conservation and sustainable industrial growth. The minister emphasized that maintaining ecological balance alongside industrial expansion remains a key priority of the state government.
Additional Chief Secretary for Industrial Development Alok Kumar, District Magistrate Satyaprakash, UPSIDA Additional Chief Executive Officer Anita Yadav, and several senior officials were present during the inspection and review meeting.
The state government believes the Bulk Drug Pharma Park project will accelerate industrial development in Bundelkhand while creating new opportunities for investment, manufacturing, and employment in the region.
